GROUNDBREAKING. Top officials of Sterling Land Residences and Development Inc. led by chairman Eduardo Padilla and president and chief executive officer Marilou Padilla preside the groundbreaking ceremony of The Skyline, the company’s 25-storey residential tower located in Lahug, just a few blocks from Cebu IT Park.
Fresh from the resounding success of its flagship projects Minglanilla Highlands and Santa Monica Estate-Tisa, property developer Sterling Land Residences and Development Inc. broke ground on its first residential condominium tower on Jan. 29, 2020.
Located on St. Lawrence Street in Lahug, Cebu City, The Skyline is a 25-storey residential tower with a five-star hotel living concept. It is just a block away from Cebu IT Park and surrounded by universities, churches, restaurants, hotels, offices and commercial establishments.
The residential tower has 496 units including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations. Each unit is equipped with a kitchenette, a toilet and bath and provisions for a washing machine and an air conditioning unit.
The development will offer future residents a five-star lifestyle with its amenities on the ninth floor that include an infinity pool with a sun deck showing an expansive view of the metropolis, Cebu IT Park and the sea; a pool deck where residents can relax and unwind after long hours of work; and a gym overlooking the pool with access to the veranda for some fresh air—a complete relaxation of mind, body and spirit.
Just like the top hospitality institutions in the country, The Skyline will have a grand lobby with its own cafe, The Skyline Lobby Bar and Lounge where residents can receive and entertain guests, have a cup of coffee or grab a refreshing drink with an assortment of pastries to fill them up.
Taking the design lead for The Skyline is award-winning architect Jose Pedro “Bong” Recio, whose landmark projects include the Pacific Plaza Towers in Ayala Avenue, Makati and Bonifacio Global City; Bellagio Condominium, also in Bonifacio Global City, and Twin Oaks Place in Mandaluyong.
The Skyline is slated for completion in 2023.
